Zahar

Directed by Mir Afnaan Nissar

A philosophical provocation interrogating the moral silence of ordinary citizens who look away while others suffer—invoking Socrates' cup of hemlock.

The 100-Second Narrative Architecture

Observe. Dramatise. Reveal.

A hundred seconds leaves no room for excess. Every Shabrang micro-short is built on three movements that let an image do the work of a sermon, and let the audience arrive at the truth on its own.

Observe

Open on the ordinary: a ritual, a household, a walk to prayer. The camera watches patiently and earns the audience's trust in what it sees.

Dramatise

Tighten the frame on behaviour. Detail and repetition build tension until a single gesture carries the full moral weight of the film.

Reveal

Turn the image on itself. One cut exposes the contradiction, and the film ends before it can explain. The meaning stays with the viewer.
